Parsec again among top ranked companies in 2013 Deloitte Best Company to Work For Survey

Lida Stricker, Centurion

 About the Award

“The survey aims to identify and celebrate the best companies to work for across the Southern African region as rated by their most important stakeholder group, namely, their employees.”

On Thursday 3 October 2013, Parsec once again received an award for being ranked the best company to work for in the manufacturing sector.  Besides the large, medium and small company categories, the survey recognised the companies which were rated as the best employers in various industry sectors. Parsec is also recognised as a Standard of Excellence Achiever, scoring above the standard of excellence threshold of 3.7.

Receiving this award is again a humbling experience – we are both proud and thankful to have received this recognition as the rating from our employees is as important to us as the satisfaction of our clients.  Sharing  the news with the employees,  Managing Director Petrus Pelser  said: “Today the words of Dale Carnegie come to mind:  Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self-control to be understanding and forgiving ……. you chose to show the strength of your character during the survey and your feedback again resulted in the Number 1 position being awarded to Parsec in the manufacturing sector… it may be Parsec that received the award today, but it is ultimately something that each  of you have earned on its behalf….”
